At The Nick Fish, your backyard is the Gateway Discovery Park, completed and celebrated by the community in August 2018.  Everyone can find a place to belong at the 3.2-acre urban park whether you’re looking for pause and relaxation or seeking a weekend workout.  Its open space design includes a large plaza, expansive lawn, skate park, inclusive play area, outdoor fitness equipment and picnic area.  Created to serve as Gateway’s “living room,” the park boasts year-round programming including live performances and movie nights and is a frequent location for multicultural events.Food carts and farmers markets are on the horizon.  It is staffed and maintained by Portland Parks & Recreation.
